CERU Trading Co. is the South-Korean company that develops and markets all VU+ products. The VU+ receivers are rapidly becoming the most important competitor for Dream Multimedia (Dreambox).
The productcatalog of VU+ only contains a few satellitereceivers but these are all based operating on Linux TV API’s. Hereby they can also run on the same software as the dreambox satellite receivers (with a few minor adjustments).
The biggest advantage of the VU+ products is that the productrange is very transparant (you only have the VU+ Duo, VU+ Solo and the VU+ Uno) and more importantly that they are sold at a very competitive price.
